Accommodations

Although comfortable, Taller Portobelo is rustic. The cool breezes of the Caribbean sea make air conditioning unnecessary. The generally warm temperatures of the land also make it unnecessary for hot water in the showers.

The facilities of Taller Portobelo consist of the studios of Photographer Sandra Eleta, Arturo Lindsay, the Congo artists, a small gallery, and housing facilities for artists, students and invited guests.

Meals

Doña Ceci, the chef at Taller Portobelo, prepares traditional Caribbean cuisine with meals consisting of seafood, tropical fruits and vegetables. Within reason, special meals can be prepared.
